Headed to Grand Coulee Dam

On the way to the Coulee Dam, we passed many interesting and/or just plain gorgeous sights.   I have chosen a few to share:

Some of the hills and mountains are dotted with tall pines and lots of lush farmland....

 

Then there were those that were rock with trees growing .

 

 

 

The rock formation below was especially interesting.

 

Can you see the elephant?


Throughout the mountains you will see a river on one side of the interstate

and a train track on the other.....

Everything follows the river.
